Etz Chaim, the Tree of Life. The tree of life has always held significant meaning in Judaism, traditionally some of us sing Etz Chayim during services when returning the Torah to the ark, its first reference was in Bereshit and spiritually, the tree of life is referenced in Chassidic & Kabbalistic teachings. The Tree of Life is often times referred to as the Torah itself, with the wisdom that can be found within its teachings.
This design features my interpretation of the Tree of life, with magen davids as leaves, because from this tree comes the Jewish people. Typically, when the "Tree of Life" is depicted, its branches are perfectly equal looking, but that isn't reality. Not everyone's path is the same, not everyone's path is equal. This is represented with the various different lengths of branches.
(Also, it has pockets)
